v. to display a false sense of dislike for something due to loyalty to loved ones.

Use: While Brenda’s roommate vented to her about how Dylan the Chef broke her heart, Brenda had to oblihate all the meals he had made for them, saying he used way too much cheese in his dishes when she knew that could never be the case.
